2024 Porter Cove Paving & Sidewalk Project

Porter will be starting a paving project in Porter Cove on Monday April 22nd. The project is due to be completed in early May. The roads being repaved include parts of Cove Trail, Cove Circle, Keel Place, Commodore Lane, Commodore Court, Essex Drive and David Boulevard. ADA sidewalk ramps will be reconstructed per code. CLICK HERE to view the construction schedule. As always, the schedule is weather dependent and will be adjusted as necessary. "No parking" signs will be placed by the contractor, Milestone Contractors North, prior to construction in each area. UPDATE
Due to weather, Milestone will wait until Monday 5-6-2024 to begin milling with paving to follow ASAP. By doing this, they will be able to start paving on 5-7 or 5-8. They will still spend three days milling and 5 or 6 days paving. Next week they will backfill the curbs, sidewalks and ramps and install stone in front of the curbs to make everything accessible to residents.
