Park Department

Welcome to the Town of Porter Park Department page. We are the official parks and trails arm of the Town of Porter. Our park system includes six properties in various stages of development, the Hawthorne Park Community Building (available for rent), and just over five miles of paved trails. 

The rental calendar below is updated weekly and should be accurate for through December 2024. If  you are interested in renting one of our   facilities you must contact the department via phone or email to confirm that the date you are interested in is available. Rental Forms are available on the top, left side of this page under the title "Facilty Rental Forms".
