Mineral Springs Road Emergency Closure

Starting December 1, 2023, Mineral Springs Road will be closed to through traffic from Planet Court to US Highway 20 due to deterioration of the steel beams on the bridge over the Little Calumet River. Porter County conducted a bridge inspection and determined that the structure is unsafe for all traffic. The bridge (Porter County Bridge #150) is scheduled for replacement in 2025.
