Porter Fire Responds to Car Fire

Porter Fire Department responded to a report of a car fire in the 600 block of Wagner Rd. early Sunday morning. On arrival firefighters reported heavy fire in the engine compartment with a nearby house as a exposure. Firefighters used approximately 600 gallons of water to extinguish the fire. The nearby residence received heat damage to the siding.
